The 4th edition of the Indira Survivor Festival IGI celebrates the extraordinary achievements of India's para-athletes. The event, hosted by the Indira Group of Institutes, honoured the indomitable spirit of these athletes who have overcome adversity to achieve greatness.

The festival brought together a distinguished panel of para-athletes, including:

1. Kapil Parmar: A visually impaired para-judo player
2. Kokila: A visually impaired para-judo player
3. Arshad Shaik: A para-cyclist with an amputated leg
4. Vrushali More: A visually impaired para-judo player
5. Renuka Salve: A visually impaired para-judo player
6. Narayana Konganapalle: A para-rower with a prosthetic leg
7. Munawar Anzar: Coach
8. Narsingh Yadav: Coach

These inspiring individuals shared their incredible journeys, highlighting the power of perseverance and the human spirit. Their stories resonated with the audience, leaving a lasting impact.

In a gesture of support and encouragement, Dr. Tarita Shankar, Chairperson and Chief Mentor of Indira Group of Institutes, announced a significant commitment to the para-athlete community. She pledged to sponsor the international competition expenses for Renuka Salve and Vrushali More for the next five years. Additionally, Dr. Shankar will provide a prosthetic leg to Arshad Shaik, empowering him to continue his journey as a para-athlete.

This generous initiative underscores Indira Group of Institutes' dedication to supporting and empowering physically challenged individuals.
